Adjika-Stuffed Mushrooms

These mouthwatering adjika-stuffed mushrooms are the perfect addition to a festive dinner spread. Ideal for holiday parties or pre dinner snack, these savoury bites combine the creaminess of cheese with the herby, garlicky punch of our Green Adjika.


Ingredients:

  • 20 large button mushrooms, stems removed

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tbsp Happy Adjika Green Adjika

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 190°C.

  2. Prepare the Mushrooms: Clean the mushroom caps and remove the stems. Brush the caps with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.

  3. Make the Filling: In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, Green Adjika, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well-combined.

  4. Stuff the Mushrooms: Spoon the filling into each mushroom cap, mounding slightly. Sprinkle the tops with grated Parmesan cheese.

  5. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden and bubbling.

  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
